Real Photo...

Found this online a few days ago and was going to ask the coachbuilder. The above scans support that it is an early 50's Meteor-Cadillac. Is anyone sure of the year? An interesting thing I noted is how much the top of the flower car resembles that of a hardtop coupe.

That photo is of a 1952 Meteor flower car in Tacoma, Washington owned by the C.C. Mellinger Company - a Tacoma funeral home. It's in the new Miller-Meteor book on page 83 and according to the caption, it was a Model 86-523 and sold for $6,808. It appears that Meteor used a cut-down Coupe DeVille roof and "dropped" it in place. Note the "lip" above the windshield. At any rate this is certainly a beauty. You gotta wonder what ever became of it or where it is today.
