Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020

Since we added the 1967 Miller-Meteor Paramount to our collection, many people have inquired just how close the Sierra Gold color is to the Sandalwood that is on our "Pink Champagne" 1973 Superor.
As you can see by these photos, the Sierra Gold is a light sandy gold color, which really brings out the Pink in the Sandalwood! Both of these cars change color depending on what light they're in. Ironically enough, they both have gold interiors with black dashboards, steering wheels, and carpet.
Further research indicates the Sierra Gold is actually a 1965 Cadillac color, which makes sense because the original owner seems to have traded this car when it was two years old, lending to the probability that a Sierra Gold '65 Miller-Meteor was traded for this car. The 1967 Cadillac gold was called Baroque Gold. I know Ed says they used basically the same colors for years, but focusing on the color names has helped us put together a bit more of the history on our '67.
