Three years ago I scrapped a complete 78 Buick body with a perfect complete front clip. I had no place to store any of it as I only wanted the frame and drive train for a project car. I kept the bumpers for awhile and I couldn't even give them away, finally ended up scrapping them too.
Even with a free front clip I would imagine you would still be buried (bad pun) in this project. To me that is a 500 dollar car from what I see here. That's what I gave for my donor car and it ran. 455 Buick rebuilt 2K before with Edelbrock Performer, Comp Cams 268H, TH400 rebuilt with modifications.

He could easily have 3000.00 in that car and wants his money back as he knows now it will be another (many many thousands of dollars) to get it looking good, running and road worthy.
Another one of the mistakes many of us have made at one time or another.
