A good day at the car show!

Bright and early tday, Shadow the wonder dog and myself climbed in the Lincoln Hearse with my cooler of ice water & sweet tea for the 27th Annual Cascade Cougar Club car show. I was entered once again in the "Edsel & Lincoln" class. Ive participated in ths show for about 19 years.It is a Peoples Choice show where everyone who enters a car gets to vote on their choices. When awards time came, the results were: 1977 Lincoln Town Car 3rd place; 1986 Lincoln Hearse 2nd place and 1956 Continental Mark II 1st place. All in all a good day.

What I like about this show is the host club makes everyone who enters feel welcome! When I drove in this morning, they thanked me for returning again this year. Ive watched one family's two boys grow from toddlers to young men in college. I have always felt like i "belonged" here...today i made it official; I paid my dues & joined their club!
