A/C or no A/C

To find one that doesn't have air conditioning that was built after say 1966, is an anomaly. I don't know what the actual percentages of the Cadillac cars built in 1970, however, I would believe that at least 80% or more of the cars were equipped with air conditioning. Adding air conditioning to an existing car can be done, but it will be expensive for the parts (non factory) and expensive labor wise, unless you are doing all the work yourself. The only practical way to add it would be an under dash unit, which might require that you remove the existing heating system. Ultimately, this will hurt the value of the vehicle. You would be better off waiting for a factory air conditioned vehicle.
