I've seen you make comments in the past about Jr's vocation. Looks like he's taken his business to the nth degree. I've got one quarter size dent in my tailgate I took to a dent shop thinking they could go in through the latch area. The Jerk said he'd have to drill holes on the side to get to it. :argue:

I left.

there are a lot of people doing the work that can only do it if they can drill a access hole. State Farm will not allow it if they are paying for the repair. in this case John is only working out of this tent . he doesn't own it he said in his note that it's the first time he has ever worked out of one. normally he'll hook up with a body shop and work there hail to get them caught up. go site seeing a bit then move on. but the season is a little slow getting started this year.

Hello I am the buyer of the 85 Lincoln in Md. I'm new to this site and the hearse collector world. It will be great to get this car into a very fun ride. I will try to post pics as we go along. We live in Middletown , Md.

Welcome to our forums and glad to hear that this is now in a collectors hands and will be saved. There are lots of resources in these forums and the members to help you with the restoration process. I am wondering.. how did you find this vehicle? Was it from reading these forums or did you see it advertised elsewhere? Inquiring minds want to know .... Once again... Welcome to our forums, and please consider joining the Professional Car Society. The Mid Atlantic chapter in MD is quite active and has a great bunch of members. :thumb:

I had seen this car on craig's list, but did not get the phone number, and the ad was taken off. I knew it was in Westminster , so we drove around on Sunday until I found it. I think it was worth the time, I have not started to work on it yet , but when I do, I will post pics here. Thanks for the nice words of encouragement.

I was at a local cruise in tonight with my 89 Fleetwood and one of the local high rollers came up to me and asked if I still had the hearse. He mentioned that one of his collector car buddies was interested in buying it. Now I havent event thought about selling it, but he mentioned that the guy will be at a huge show im going to tomorrow. I'll see what he's offering and what his intentions are for the car. Somehow, I expect that I will NOT be selling her.IF and WHEN I ever decide to sell her, Im gonna advertise in the PCS.

cheap and easy minor dent repair

I have used dry ice to pop out small and minor dents. This has a pretty good success rate. Make sure you are wearing a good pair of gauntlets to protect your hands from frostbite and do not use it on wet surfaces.
