80's Caddy Interior Repair Tips?

I'm Currently Updating and Repairing the Interior of my '82 Caddy Super Stretch Limo.....And while coming across small odds and ends of Parts and Pieces Needed I have hit a Couple of Speed-bumps too ... Any Referals I can get as to where to go to find Replacement Floor Carpeting for these Models would help as The Carpeting is Worn thin in Some Areas and has Chemical (Bleach Type) Stains else where (In the front...Not the Back....So don't get any Dirty Ideas!) Also, In an Attempt to Repair a Sagging Headliner I Damaged the Very Thin Layer of the Styro-Foam Like Material Shell that the Headliner is Glued/Wrapped to....Any Ideas on how to go about repairing or Replacing Such (It is Cracked down the Center and Broken at the Sun Visor Mounts)

Any Help or Ideas would Greatly be Appreciated!
Thanks, -Ryan

if they did yours like they did mine they used a factory carpet in the front and split in under the front seat. the strange thing on mine is there two different colors of brown. so for carpet I would get one out a 2 door start from the back trim it straight across were it just starts to turn up or the heal pad or were the drive shaft tunnel starts to flair. go as high as you can or just under the center of the front set which ever comes first. a single cut 6 door is a 38 in stretch so you not asking to gain a lot. it it doesn't make it you have enough to play with to see if two of them will splice under the center seat. once you get the original carpet out you can tell from the backside how they did it. that cheap piece of foam is a problem. duct tape is one way to get some form back. finding a used one and it's broken or torn up by the time you get it out. with a new one it's expensive and you brake it up getting it back in. they put them in threw the windshield in one piece. good luck

Yeah That Sounds about right, They Used One Large Section to Cover from the Firewall to about half way Under the Front Seat, (Enough to Cover the Front of the Front Seat Mounting Holes, They then used Black Carpeting to Cover just the Center Hump Under the Front Seat to Behind to the Divider Wall, and 2 Small Chunks of Carpeting on Each Side of the Front Seat that Filled the Remainder of Open Area Once the Front Seat was installed.

I can Pressure Wash and Clean the Small Chunks of Carpeting Easy Enough but the Big Piece is the one thats really showing the 29 Years of Foot Traffic and Wear and Tear.....I just wasn't sure if there was a Place a Person Could by Replacement/Reproduction Carpeting for such cars (Fleetwood/Brougham) Or if I would Have to Chance it and hope that I'm lucky Enough to Find a Survivor Donor Car with Good Carpeting that Matches in Color to the Rest of the Car, As thats all stuff that too often gets Destroyed in Demo Derbies or Junkers Taking Cars to the Crushers to make a quick Buck Around here it seems.

Thanks for the Tips on the Headliner Shell...I'll need all the Prayers I can Get!

SMS Auto Fabrics may be able to help you with the carpet, and maybe the headliner. Be prepared to wait a while.....they are not the fastest thing in the world. I know from first hand experience. My special order headliner that was supposed to take 5 weeks took 12.
