Is anyone familiar with this car ??
I would like to make an offer and was hoping someone might be able to shed a bit of light on it.
Also what might a rig in similar condition be worth ??
I guess what I am asking "What is a FAIR price for this car ??"
I know 19500 is to much...but would like to make a FAIR offer on it...

PS he says the mileage is 26k..but not sure about that.....
 
I don't know anything about the specific car in the ad, but based on what I have seen for sale that is comparable $19K would be at the absolute top of the price range for something like that. It's not outside the realm of possibility for that type and year of car to command such a price, but it would have to be absolutely immaculate, with no flaws whatsoever and restored to better than new. I don't think a car that rolled off the assembly line and racked up 26K miles would be worth that much, it would have to be detailed to an even greater level than when it left the assembly line.

I would think you could get a cream-of-the-crop version of that particular car for closer to the $10K range, and even then it would have to be pretty nice. I would think if this car were even that nice they wouldn't have posted a picture of it missing a rear wheel skirt.
 
one would have to want it. and pictures lie. so look it over and make a reasionabl offer. a lot of times the asking price is just some were to start.
