Belongs to a close multi-hearse owning buddy in NC. He's upgraded a few cars in the collection and is willing to let those recently replaced go as indoor space is at a premium. I'll place interested parties directly in contact. Those considering haggling/lowballing offer don't get his info as he simply isn't the type to move much if any. Email (not PM) for it as permission was not granted to post publicly.
This one came recently via trade.
Pros:
-Straight. One area of rust isolated to bottom of driver front fender (typical).
-All glass good.
-Recent remanufactured engine(!).
-Popular color combination - black exterior w/ black & silver interior.
-49k original miles on chassis.
Cons:
-Acquired w/o gas tank. A good one will be provided from a parts coach, although not necessarily installed.
-Hasn't been started yet.
-No title.
Rather than set a price, or a range, he simply said "An offer very close to 2k." What he implied was that he's a little flexible depending on if he will be the one to get it running, install tank, etc. Will be provided with Bill of Sale.
Never had a vinyl top - common? Not familiar enough with this year range.
Even the rear bumper that rots out easily is pretty good. Feeling the entire lower lip revealed scaling for a few inches on the reverse side to the left of the center section. Little rust preventative would stop deterioration.
Rear compartment is intact and in very nice shape. Neglected taking a picture after forgetting to move Halloween props stored there.
Close up of rust mentioned:
Perfect home would include a beginner coach for someone looking for a 'classic' style. Spray the hood and use as is, making small improvements as time/money allow. Depending on who manufactured engine, it may have cost more than asking price for whole coach.
