'69 C-B Olds Ambulance in KC

These cars are being sold in order to settle the estate of Gene Knisley, who was an ambulance builder/distributor in K.C. for decades(U.S. Coachworks, Stratus). Much, much more to follow.

The sad part is they have reserves and most likely way more than they are worth given the condition of them, like the 76 S&S they have.

Chris,
Different scenario here now. Gene has passed away since the other listings a year or two ago. This stuff now all belongs to Gene's heirs and is being liquidated.

Trust me, you would not have wanted to own that '76 S&S ambulance anyway. It is not worth what it would cost to have it shipped to you! It is a parts car at best and not a great one at that! I have looked it over several times while waiting there for Gene Jr.

Kurt,
Sadly I still wouldn't mind getting it for parts.

I believe that the building was to the point of almost collapsing onto these cars that were stored in it. As with many hoarders, they prize their junk but can't/won't come up with the money to keep a roof over the stuff.

Oh, they all eventually sell! There are too many people(heirs) involved now. One of them will force a sale. I am sure that they are just testing the market. I am sure that they are open to offers and will hold on to your contact information! If you are interested in buying one of them, I would let it be known.

It seems like most of the pro-cars hitting the market these days have somewhat dilusional prices attached to them, in my opinion!

That would be a '63 Olds combo converted to an ambulance.

In my opinion, the M-M Lifeliner is the only rig in the collection that is worth more than $3000!

and it would depend on that one. would like to get a real CB olds just to see the difference in them and the wayn built ones. the reserve will kill the sale in this stuff. if your wanting to sell them. air up the tires garden hose them off and have some one at least see if they will fire with a prime. some one was watching that auction in Nebraska to much.
