For anyone interested in progress on the pinner. We have met our goals to start out with. That was to get the new muffler and tailpipe in place and running on the new fuel tank. To do so required the reconstruction of the rocker in front of the driver's door, the repair of the floor driver's side, replace the outer lower panel from in front of the wheel well to the taillight. Then repair the infrastructure where the tank sits. Portions of the trunk floor on the left side. Since I had to drop down the rear axle I went ahead and replaced the springs and shocks, strut bar bushings that kind of stuff. We painted the underbody and frame on the left side from the center to the rockers. Then we could meet the goal. The car is now driveable on the fuel tank and quit. Just so we did not have to come back over here. We went on and finished the sheet metal from the door back and the insert down. Now for the right side.
The looks like if someone would get busy they could get it done before the snow flies. But don't bet on it. The nice part about this one is there in not a lot of chrome.1690653783441-1425308841.jpg
