Flxible didn't build any flower cars in 1960, but this one's not quite fake or real. It used to be a Flxette professional car of some sort that was hacked up to make it a flower car. Flxible used to sell a kit to modify a Chevy El Camino into a flower car, what appears to have happed is someone cut off the back of this Flxette and added the El Camino kit to make it look like a flower car. The rear window on this one has a cutout of the Chevy bowtie.

I would go for real fake. it was not built by flexible but it could have been built for a Funeral home. only the man that did it knows the truth. one would have to have a few more pictures to tell. front doors are sedan and no evidence of a rear from the pictures. standard glass so it could have been assembled from anything. not unlike a MClane though. make a real nice parts runner for the shop. at that price with out the wheels (just a nice set of smoothies and baby moons) if it runs good it's not bad. a lot of these cars were built in body shops for sales man haulers. if you could used it depends on how they did the tailgate or if they did a tailgate.

Daniel, did you forget responding to the first thread on this car?

I guess so , by seeing the back that answers my question , in this post there is only the pic from the front . Good way to not show the whole truth .Thanks:thankyou2:

...$6,500 without tires and wheels...
How the heck can you get it home without tires & wheels? :pat:

Yeah, we had established in the earlier thread that this was likely a Flxette combination that someone cut the roof off, but finished the top of the "tailgate" with the Flxible rear doorjamb plate. What a mess - interesting, but a mess.
