'58 M-M Futura in Idaho

Extremely detailed description! Missing center sections for rear bumper could be obtained from Jeremy Moberg, who has spare center sections. Who knows what lies beneath its last "spray job", but it looks to be a very worthy project!

that's what I was thinking also. in which case the body work was all done by a shop in Boise. it had sat out side the Upholsters for over a year the last time I saw it.

Sounds like his frustrations will dealing with a bunch of uncaring people at different shop has forced him to sell the project he likely once had big dreams for.

Really unfortunate that others have lost his parts, taken a long time to do the work and ultimately put a end to the completion of this fine procar.

I hope someone will set up and make it the best it can be by finishing it off as it should be.

I bet his loss will be a great gain for someone else.

Here's to the car being bought and finished properly !!! :applause:

Darren

P.S. Rocky, wouldn't it be a nice one to sit beside your 58 ?

I'd say its more like a sign like we've seen here in the past from a few others. Someone comes in as a new member all gungho and basically cannon balls into the scene with all they got and then later burns out like a spent bottle rocket! Never heard from again.

Art Gregory was a very active PCS member for a number of years. I think that Art had 3 professional cars, at one point. The 1958 was his dream car. He sold a 1966 Miller Meteor ambulance a few years ago. I think Art just got tired of being jerked around by a bunch of idiots that were willing to take the money, but they didn't take their work, or Art, seriously. It is a real shame, isn't it? I wish Art well.
