After searching here, an old non-working link by Steve Loftin turned up as only mention. Has this previously been discussed?

Vaguely recall reading about this auction but don't remember where. Anyone know price realized of where the flower car went? Couldn't find price on Mecum's site.
 
Heard through the grapevine that it had gone cheaply - like under $3500. The real pisser? Buyer allegedly stuck in a new battery and drove it off property! Wondered if anyone knew the same.

At the time of auction, there were not pictures up. Revisiting site confirmed never seeing this Superior before.
 
57 flower car

This car was sold at the Branson auction. At the last there was only two of us bidding, I dropped out at 2900 it sold for 3000 I don't think anyone drove it off but it was a very solid car except for all the stainless missing on top. the arms that lift the flower tray were cut off. I have no idea who the buyer was or where the car went.
