Just bought a 1956 superior flower car does anyone have an idea how many were built?

Congrats Jim. Not many C-cab ('54-'56) Superior flower cars remain. Would love to see which one you've acquired.

Dang, I was just thinking the other day that I wanted a '56 Meteor or Eureka flower. Congrats on the purchase! Post the pics please!

1956 flower car
Congratulations, Jim. That's a great find! I'm as anxious as everyone else to see photos of your car. The only `56 I've ever seen is one Tony Karsnia photographed up in his part of the country a few years ago.
Unfortunately, neither Tom McPherson and I have ever been able to find Superior Coach production numbers by model or type. Superior was building anywhere from 12-25 flower cars annually in the mid 1950s, which was probably the zenith of the flower car era.
Another thing we've never been able to find is a factory photo of a 1956 Superior-Cadillac flower car -- the only glaring omission in Tom's otherwise incredibly complete Superior book! They must have photographed one of them.
