Rare 1955 Cadillac Flower Car - $30000 (Shreveport)
1955 Cadillac Flower Car, custom built by Superior Body Company in 1955. Very low production figures estimated to be less than 15 built, lots of stainless and chrome, 331 engine (not running), 44k original miles, originally from the Denver Colo area. needs total restoration. clear title. Asking $30,000 serious inquiries contact Dale 979-218-4409
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Caught wind of this in '10, unsuccessfully tried to see 3/11. After reading ad am able to link some history together. Pertinent background info on this rare C-cab~
'99 or '00, owned by Mike Jefferies (sp) in/near Denver who also had a '54 C-cab. He collected '54s being birth year. Every decent piece of stainless and chrome from this '55 was cherry picked and swapped over to his '54. Mike had rockers made for '55 before then hanging a staggering $8k price tag. Why didn't he have those rockers welded on you ask? (Besides the obvious answer of not fitting well.) Because there was absolutely nothing left to weld them to. Headlight buckets were also heavily rotted.
So, 17ish years have passed, nothing has transpired with coach, other than $20k+ uptick. No idea what happened to '54, which was far better condition between the two.
