'55 Cadillac Derham Limo

Around 1968 I bought a 1966 Rolls Royce from Keenan Motors the MB dealer in Philadelphia. It was a Derham custom the same treatment as this Cadillac. Blocked in windows oval rear window and the leather top. The difference was the interior the car was delivered from England with a black leather interior. The buyer took one look and said too cold and looked like a Funeral car. The car was sent to Derham for the above work plus a complete redo of the interior in tan broadcloth (stunning result) the quality surpassed Rolls.I was told by Mr. Marty Keenan the cost was over $20000.00 quite a hit as a new Cadillac was around $7000.00 for a new limo at the time. The only reason I got the car was it was wrecked hit in the front the chauffeur blew a red light and hit someone. I sold the car the next day to a rebuilder in New York went then to a resort on Long Island. Oh yeah the original owner Charlotte Dorence Wright Campbell Soup heiress. When Derham closed one of my Classmates from High School bought the Derham building and I got a bunch of seats and left over parts from cars that were Customized. The Derham folks would do almost anything a client asked for. We have in this area an often seen 1940 Packard with about a 1932 (read that high) body that Derham adapted to the 1940 because the owner had arthritis and could not bend to enter the lower 1940 Packard stock body. Derham did many wheel chair conversions I beleive they did Lionel Barrymores Packard.

I know I really should not ask, but what do you folks think this beauty is really worth? In a sense, we will be speculating, because there are many things to consider, such as; Derham, color, AC and of course condition. How much will these things add to the value? Last but not least, do you think this gem sells on eBay?
