'51 Eureka Cadillac Hearse

Neato! I like it. I have to ask, what is the car sitting next to it--the back looks like a Rolls, but the grille does not....curious.

Sweet!! That Eureka styling is hard to beat! If you're lucky, it will have a vin tag on the driver side door post, near the windshield. Otherwise, you will find the vin on the top of the right side frame rail, just behind the engine mount. It will also be stamped into the front of the engine block on the right side.

Any interior pics to share??

Eureka

The car next to the Eureka is British, I think. I don't have any interior pics of the '51 at present, but that is at the top of my list when I get back from Florida.

Thanks for posting, Matthew. I could be wrong, but it's my opinion that the landau panels were fabricated by someone other than Eureka. I think those are early Superior landau bars. This is the only Eureka I've ever seen with "removeable" landau panels.

I think the car in question could be a Peugeot from the late 50's, or early 60's. They had a Peugeot that looked a little like a Mercedes back then. But, I am not sure.

Tom, you are right, these are not Eureka landau bars, also the panels are fabricated. We discussed this when it surfaced a few years ago. I looked for the thread but could not find it, may have been the old website.
Matt still got a nice solid looking coach and a great addition to any collection!!
