3rd TFW Hearse Show pics

Texas Frightmare Weekend has passed. Larry Reeves did an outstanding job coordinating funeral cars showing in conjunction. Although most were either non-PCS friendly or had displays, thought you'd enjoy seeing a few.

This '69 Miller Meteor combination was stunning in person. Always nice to see removable landau panels like Patty's.

I couldn't believe all the bondo I found under the paint. I wouldn't have stripped her had she not been laquer-checked to beat all. Glad I am taking the slow road, since she is going back to her origional black :D

BTW, anyone heard from Mike Armentrout lately? He might be interested to see what the long-haired punk kid is doing with this coach...

Nice pics! It's great to see the '69 out and about. The girl that owns it emailed back and forth with me a lot for advice when she was doing the work on it. It's really sharp and pretty much stock. She even kept the old commercial chassis wheels for it.

Non-PCS Friendly?

Non-PCS Friendly?.... I didn't know there was such a group? Only kidding.... I'm just glad they are (ALL) being saved! MM

Larry...... sand it down till it is bright shiny metal and then clearcoat it. You will have the only "DeLorian" hearse in the world... It has classic lines, and it is going to be a show stopper when it is completed in black... :applause:

The 61 looks great in its "in progress" state. It also warms my heart to see that there was at least one car in the show sporting its original wheels!

Can't wait to see the finished project as I am doing the same with my 60MM.

how about posting some pictures of the 4x4???!!!!
I wonder if it's the same one that I have pictures of in a copy of March 1991 "Off Road" magazine??
Even though "some" of the PCS crowd would not own a modified
I should think that the "majority" of the PCS crowd enjoys seeing pictures
of ALL older coaches!! Personally I enjoy every picture regardless if it's car show or junk yard and everything in between!!

Dana Bennett.

Hey, isn't that Ghoulardi with that '60 M-M?
Whoops, I guess I've given away may age. Does anyone else remember Ghoulardi (Ernie Anderson) from television in the 1960s?
Drew Carey certainly did as he regularly appeared on his TV sit-com wearing a Ghoulardi teeshirt.

Not Ernie.

We who live in Cleveland area (and who have lived long enough) remember him. However this cat is too neat. Where is the messed hair, lab coat, glasses, ka-booms, Parma references etc.? :thumb:
