2010 John Keel Award winner?

Like Richard Vyse said at the banquet, the John Keel Award committee had a tough decision this year because we have so many people in the club that are enthusiastic and who really care about the PCS. In the end though, we decided that one individual, showed more enthusiasm than the rest - John Ed Renstrom. Congratulations to him!

Couldn't have made a better choice. I truely beleave that Ed would do just about anything to help out a fello PCS member, and he truely shows how much the PCS and, his PCS family means to him. Congradulations Ed. Very well deserved.:myopinion::applause::applause::applause::applause:

Excellent choice....although I have not met Ed, I always look forward to reading his posts. His knowledge of pro cars and enthusiasm is evident.

So many choices only one a year.

We had spirted lively but friendly debate. All the candidates were worthy and may get it in years to come. Ed fills the bill and will make a great addition to the panel to select next years winner.
 
I had the pleasure of spending a week on vacation with Ed and Candy. Ed and I judged for the show, and I learned a lot about judging and procars in general. While everybody was relaxing enjoying a much needed vacation, Ed was working tirelessly to help other members with their cars. I can't think of anyone more deserving of the John Keel Award. Congrats again Ed!

It is an honor to have received the John Keel Award, and also an honor to be on the committee to choose the person to receive the award in the future. We do go through a lot of debating (and have alot of fun, too), there are so many deserving people and it's rough narrowing it down to one. I would also like to thank the Friends of the Professional Car Society Website for the plaque that was presented last week with all the recipient's names.
 
Poor Richard, now you are no longer the oldest member to get this award.

Gongrats, ED!! You are well deserving of this award.
