1994 S&S Masterpiece door handles won't open from outside

I have two outside door handles that won't unlatch: drivers door and passenger-side rear compartment door. Drivers side will unlatch from the inside.

Anyone have experience into checking or replacing? I don't want to spend time opening up the door panels if they're an easier way.

Yes, they do.

sounds like it not unlocking all the way. if you go out the door you can't get back in right away?

That's correct. I can open from the inside on the driver's door. There is no interior handle for the passenger side cargo door.

You will need to get into the doors and lube all the pivot points. The big problem is normally the latch its self. Remove it and clean all the old grease out. I. Like to use a lub put out by slick 50. It not as heavy so it doesn't attract the dirt or stiffen up if not used a lot. Comes in a spray bomb.
