I really like the style of this, too bad the condition is not better. I dont remember ever seeing this style on this new of a car, wonder who built it.

I'm thinking its a Moloney , Chicago armour . Limousine werks several other companies built these Royale , Dabryan, Executive but sticking with Moloney from the chicago area. mainly because they were known to do corporate type short stretch limo's like this.

id say you could make a 500.00 offer and own it but its a northstar and my experience with them has not been good. ive bought and sold many, many caddys with northstars as they do sell quite well to some people wanting a cadillac but as we say here, they wont run a note. meaning i will be working on it for them to keep the note paying or paying it out of some shop were they have a gun to my head. ive quit buying any cadillac (older) with northstars. and not to offend anyone who likes them but i think its a ugly car. im sure there is plenty of storys of norhstars being great for there owners but in general terms were cars change ownership and maintenece changes they have not done good for me and i can sell all i buy but just dont. in othe words they were not worth the investment vs. payback. paid one out of a repair shop friday (new heads etc) 1868.00 and im sending it to the auction thursday and will probaly get what i pd. the repair shop for the car. another northstar loser for me. saw the post and found a oppurtunity to vent. sorry if i nmade anyone mad....:myopinion:

No Northstar here. The norhtstar was first introduced in 1993 and only in the Eldorado and Allante. In 1994 the Northstar was used in All Cadillacs except the Sedan Deville and Fleetwood.

When I see weeds growing up and around a car for sale, that means that it has sat in the same location for a long time. That translates to it isn't a running vehicle, and it is going to take a lot of money to get it back to a running vehicle. It would have to be an extremely desirable car for me to want to do the work necessary to get it back on the road. Cars sitting outside deteriorate a lot faster than those sitting on concrete or in a garage.

I agree about the weeds growing around comment. I would be very leary of buying a non running car this new, there is so much computer B.S. on it you may spend a fortune on parts and still never find the problem.

caddy

you are right sir, it is NOT a norhstar. i should not have said so without looking. my deepest apologies to however this might have offended. now saying that ,northstars are still BAD motors for used car dealers here. i could go on and on but i saw the car and said what was on my mind at the time. we have sold 37 caddys from my lot in the past 16 months and i have either repoed or repaired 21 of them. this is what was on my mind. saying that, i will say that 92's were and still are BAD motors. also the ac system is a nightmare. to many sensors and relays for me. if you have a norhstar or other in your caddy then i wish you all the luck. proper maintenance should keep most motors and the car in good shape but when it changes hands numerous times who knows what someone elses maintenance ideas were. i will not buy any moreunless it is one owner, low miles and cheap. and then i will not finance it. i make a living on buying and selling cars and have for a very long time and i feel i know what im talking about. but hey, i probaly dont have a clue and am just lucky i made it this long in the car buisness. :drama:

Location location

Where is the car? It's rather attractive and I have easy access to all the glass and trim...It's also the last thing I need right now - another car, but who knows.

Harry, the car is located on M13 (Sheridan Rd.) near Montrose, Michigan. Not very far from Interstates 75 or 69. You can contact the owner at the number listed for more information. I believe the window with plastic over it was there but stuck part way down.
