1984 Hess and Eisenhardt Limo

1984 Hess and Eisenhardt. Spotted this while traveling today. Interior is good(didn't think to take photos). Believe car has 109,000miles(odometer showed 9000) but motor reportedly has substantially fewer. Vehicle used to belong to Rossell Funeral Home in Flushing. Owner said vehicle had engine fire but as you can see by photos repairs have been made. Newer exhaust. Car started and ran great. Owner asking $2500 or best offer. 810-487-0259 Greg.

It appears to be an Oldsmobile motor. The heater core is bypassed. I have pictures of the interior if anyone is interested. There are cigarette burns on the back seat. The windshield wiper switch has been poorly modified. The bottoms of all the doors are rusted, through in places. What I thought was strange about this car was that it was built using a Cadillac deVille rather than a Fleetwood. Ed, this is the car I called you about but didn't get back with you after seeing it in person.

The wiper switch is an easy fix. With the HT4100 gone that is a plus. As long as the vinyl top is good and the body is straight I'd say it is a good car.

I kinda like that it is a Deville 6-door. Separates it from the party limos.

now for me on this one it's a case of two much missing or altered for the money asked + shipping. the selling price versus, what I would have to put back in for what I want make looking for a different one. your needs may be different. if so grab it up they are getting harder to find. I would pass on the 307 unless is was a sharp car. with a lot of evidence of possible fire damage and the repaint it does not fit my needs. I have enough projects now. as far as I know the only engines in the the 6 doors were the 307 and the 350 I have never see one with the 4100 RWD engine. but I like the looks of the box a lot better then the thing left in the bowl.
