Flap

I called on this car already......The only problem with the car is a bad transmission from what I was told. I was also told they may still have the title if anyone out there wishes to save this one. I will be heading out there very soon to start parting it out. 1500 is what they want for the whole car at this time.

Crushed

Hey John, The info you got was correct....they did crush their entire row of about 20 pro cars a while back. That is now only one of two in their yard. Looks too nice to be there, but I need some parts so I think I will be heading over there. Damn shame they crushed everything, but they told me half the cars were literally falling to pieces when they went to move the row, so instead of moving them to a different spot, they were just brought over to the crusher.

Gas tank wanted

I am looking for a gas tank, and unfortunately the last tank that I was told was a good donor turned out to be a rear, center fill tank out of a 1973 and disqualified the tank once more. Called French lake today and they went to an interchange catalog and stated that the interchange book showed 64-69 as being the same. Trouble is that it might be a donor for lack of actual visual inspection of the tank. The 1973 fuel door is on the quarter panel on the coach that is where the confusion was in regards to the latest tank I found. The fuel door on the 1972 is where our 1969 is, just to the left of the rear door, so maybe? If anyone goes out to French lake that could check what side that tank fills from it would help out big time. Matt if you head out please take a closer look at the tank for me please. Should fill from the drivers side of the tank like your 1968 does. Thanks everyone, and Matthew!

Are the body parts compatable with my 73 MM Cadillac. If so I might be interested in both rear quarter panels from behind the rear doors and below the windows.

picked up a few items

Well, I have now seen the car in person....so-so I would say. I did grab the jump seats, which are black and in pretty nice condition. I also grabbed some rollers, the curtains and hardware, some miscellaneous stuff, and a couple of the flip panels in the floor.

Jump Seats

Matt,
What were you needing jump seats for again? I recall that you said that you needed just 1. The '63 Superior at Purkeys still has its jump seats, but the M-Ms do not.

64 MM combo

Hi Kurt,
I was looking for my 64MM combo. I have the rear facing one, but lack the forward facing one. I grabbed these to check the fit and its close, but not perfect. I am still looking for a period correct forward facing seat....if I find one, I will part with the set I currently have for sure. Thanks

Jump Seats

Matt,
Of the '63s and '64 at Purkey's, just the '63 Superior limo combo still had its jump seats in it.
