1970s GM Rear-View Mirrors

I have saved too many really nice '70s GM manual-adjust rear-view mirrors. NO silver loss/issues on any of them. I think that they used this same style into the very early '80s on some models. $20 each plus actual shipping cost.

The secret to not having silver issues: NEVER spray anything directly onto the mirror. Spray your rag.

Inside or outside? Inside Day / Night? Do you have any that have the rubber around the edge, and the light at the bottom of the mirror? Pictures would help.

Standard rear-view mirror(inside) that most all GM cars & trucks had in the 1970s. Manual day/night adjust. This is the rear-view mirror that every GM pro-car would have come with in the 1970s. They all have the rubber around the edge. Windshield-mounted.

Kurt, would this be the same type of mirror that I have in my '72 Malibu convertible? Or would it be easier for me just to get the mirror glass replaced?

Thanks!

Just Change the head. The only picture not shown was how the head mounted to the post. But the look threw the windshield looks like the tab in a slot. Idon't think you can change the mirror glass and keep the day night feature.
