Commercial chassis = Cadillac
Extended wheelbase = Olds, Pontiac
Standard wheelbase = Consort, Seville
Unit built = straight ambulance on passenger car chassis
These statistics are from figures supplied only by the seven manufacturing facilities listed. I imagine there were hundreds more built by companies such as Springfield and Weller, regional and even local outfits, procar dealers such as Summers and Gordon K. Allen, and by ambulance operators themselves.
Despite the fact that it says this is 1969 calendar year production, I suspect they meant 1969 model year.
