1969 Cadillac hearse/ambulance (combination). Solid car, good bit of surface rust. Runs great. I currently have it on the road right now if you are interested in test driving it. No broken or cracked glass. Siren and light works. Hearse panels included to cover rear windows. Original curtains and rods for all windows included. Interior is perfect, other can front carpet being a little worn. Original gurney included, also in perfect condition. Lots of extras, including 2 different sets of original Cadillac hubcaps, fender skirts, and oxygen tank mount. I also have a metal casket that i will throw in for the right price. Heat works, AC needs to be charged. New battery and belts. Some new hoses. Fun car. Gets a lot of attention. If interested, please email me.

Seriously, a casket chained to the front porch

Maybe they are afraid that someone will steal it?

Scrappers will liberate anything they can get their hands on. I worked at the 29 Palms Marine Base and it is among other things a live fire training base. The land mass is huge and they back side is basically open desert . You would have scrappers occasionally try to get into the range when a live fire exercise was going on. Some of the larger shells bring pretty good money but at least wait until they are done firing before trying to collect them.

the price is not bad will worth looking at. it runes like he says and all the interior is as good as the pictures show. you only into painting and finding the out side moldings. 10 ought to get it up and running.

I think if you have a interest in this, a inspection by another set of eyes would be a good idea. The rust could be superficial or really nasty. One thing that jumps out to me is the rear bumper has something added to the bottom of it ,bet it is rusted out and the strips are covering the rust thru.
