Looking for some guidance and hopefully a diagram to help me chase down some vacuum issues on my 69 hearse.
I had the Rochester Quadrajet rebuilt and have it back on the car. When it came apart there were a number of loose hoses which did not help with my reinstallation.
The carb has 3 ports:
1 large port on the back - connected to the brake booster
1 small port on the front passenger corner - connected to the choke
1 medium port on the front going to the vacuum advance
There is also one nipple on the rear passenger corner of the intake.
I KNOW my routing is wrong. There is a thermostatic vac switch on the front of the engine but I do not know which line should connect to it, to which port or to where each line would connect from the switch out into the car.
At current my HVAC does not work, nor does the parking brake. I am sure these are all related to vacuum lines being wonky.
Hoping someone can help me identify everything and get straightened out!
Thanks!
