hard economical times and high gas prices forcing me to sell.
this is a 1967 dodge coronet 440 hearse by abbott and hast.
its 1 of 3 known to still be on the road.i bought it back in 2009,i love the car and use it as a work vehicle driving it every day i work, and as a around town vehicle.........................

............... it has a 318 motor in it not original from what i can tell it originally had a 383 the transmission has been rebuilt about 2 years ago. the front and mid floorboards have been replaced.it has new dual pipes and mufflers ,and new green barrings in the rear end ,but at the same time it still needs work.it should have a full restoration
from what i was told by ron hast one of the companys owners [abbott and hast] this car was originally sold to a mortuary in palm springs and was originlly blue, and the back window was the only one they made with that design - $7500

Pictures from when he bought it. Looks like he's trying to get back the money he paid for it, his labor (of stripping it down to parts), his shipping, and a decent profit. I have it somewhere in my emails, but it was only sold for about $3000 in the condition below.

another classic example of "why can't people just leave stuff alone..."

Agreed. While the car was definitely not great to start with, I know the owner had good intentions. But if you're not ready to start and finish a project, don't pull apart a complete and somewhat usable car...

What kind of makes me laugh about it is that I'm not even sure my A&H is worth what he wants for his, and mine's in good shape!
