It frosts me when someone cuts easy corners, such as not removing bumpers, to do a better paint job. If they cut these corners, the more difficult ones are certainly cut too.
most of the time,thats true. but it's getting so that most shops haven't see a car with bumpers on in so long they are afraid to take them off.
And can you imagine how much it cost chroming a bumper like that is...... I hear it can be in the thousands.![]()
Yes, it does hit the thousands. Lots of chrome, not to mention the stainless on a 63. But WELL worth it when it's done.
