1963 Ford Galaxie Ambulance

Its a Siebert.
I know that there were Lincoln professional cars made by a few of the coach builders, but you don't hear of Ford professional cars much. Siebert is one of the names most associated with Ford based professional cars.

Is Siebert the only company that used Ford chassis?
What other coach builders used Ford chassis on a regular basis?
I know that Thacker converted a few Ford/Mercury station wagons... was that all?

Great pic BTW!
Love it!

Yes, Siebert is the most reconized builders of Fords, but many buliders have built them too. Superior has done some, even built some on the Crown Vic Chassis.
NOT counting Lincoln, just Ford, some other builders are: Lagrequist (in the 20s), Eureka, also in early days, Weller, National, Economy, National-Knightstown, ACC, AHA, Abbott & Hast, Imperial, Tom Caserta's Meteor Co.
Im sure there are more, but they are out there.

Mercy A.S. (?, CA)
1963 Aristocrat

This is the best looking Siebert I've ever seen, and the only one to have sealed beam tunnels and dual CP-25s.

We have a long time PCS member who actually own two Siebert Ford ambulances, a 1962 I have never seen and a 1963 that made it to many Int'l Meets over the years. I have no pictures to post, but it is a beauty and it is all white with a dash of red.

There have been a number of Sieberts within the PCS and several I have seen for sale. There is a gorgeous 1950 ambulance in white, for sale at Goldenrod Garage up in Freeport Maine.
