at that angle the little tag on the rear of the quarter claims it. it is also a straight hearse. no air vent

I agree. I have a feeling there is more to the story that is not being said. I do not know of anyone that has let a car sit for over 20 years just because it needs new tires. Still, looks like it could be a good deal if legit, as you said, even though it looks like part of the casket table has been cut out.
Its hard to say if it was a straight hearse or combo. I see it has the switchbox by where the attendant seat would be, but the air vent on the driver quarter panel is not there. That may have been removed and filled when re painted, who knows.
