Perfect for a fan of the movie "The Disorderly Orderly"!!
Some assmbly required but one sharp car if finished.
It would be a sharp car!
I have made contact with the present owner, and encouraged him to join the PCS for more help with and about his car.

I remember Bob Hutt, owner of Capital City Ambulance in Des Moines, telling me about the time he and an employee went out to Shaeffer's Ambulance in Los Angeles and bought both of the Pontiacs used in the "Disorderly" movie. He said they drove the cars, one towing the other, and were just coming into Arizona when the engine in the tow car blew. So they swapped places and made it back to Des Moines without further incident. He also said that the front bumpers on both cars were still bent from when the movie studio had chained them together and stood them up on their rear bumpers for the final parking lot scene. I have no info as to the fate of either car after their service at CCA.

The gentleman who ones the car has been trying to determine if it would have used a standard 61 Bonneville windshield, or would it have been a larger specific glass. His research has supported it was the standard windshield.

Just measure the glass at the side, and post that measurement. I will compare that with my standard glass 1962 C/B Chevrolet. Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile standard glass is available, in both clear and tint, and it can have the correct logo and date code added for additional cost. Unlike the 1959 / 1960 windshields, they are relatively easy to install, and a replacement windshield gasket is available from Steele Rubber.

One other hint is the wing window. With nothing built up above it and the top corner of the glass even with it. Thats a good bet on standard glass. But like Paul stated dead center measurement top to bottom will tell. If your rough measurements are with in a few inches of the standard glass you figured it out.
