1955 Cadillac restoration

This car is actually a combination, complete with original combination interior. It was purchased in Texas and "restored" (using the very loosest interpretation of that word) using parts from a junked ambulance.

That's true, you can see some of the combination interior in the car, to which the ambulance cabinet has been added. They fabricated new light tunnels, to the original design. When you look at it as a complete vehicle, it's a very nice ambulance, and it photographs well. But as Steve mentioned, it wasn't originally so.

Am I the only one that spends a long time on these sites perusing retired apparatus photos?
