I just seen a 1955 caddy- camper on craig's list. You can go to Wichita ,Ks and the car section put in 1955. This car use to be a hearse, the front looks very nice. Check it out

With the comeback of vintage campers, this thing running well, that is a good price in my opinion.

If it was closer it would be mine.

I think I might try to call him today and get more info about it. I'm curious how the back half was chopped and if he did the work. Also if he did the work, see if he has any of the old car parts around.

He purchased it at auction 2 years ago and it runs but takes a bit to get it going. Supposed to be smooth once it is going.

Although I hate they screwed up a hearse to build one I think they are neat. You can have a nice camper and ride in a cadillac. Being commercial chassis I am sure they can carry the weight.
