1940's Ambulance

I don't know much, but I do know 38, 39, 40 and 48-50 Henney- Packards. I own a few and can tell the difference between them and other cars. This is a 39 or 40 Henney. It is not a38 due to the trim on the windshield. running boards changed in 41. The fire wall is Packard. Without seeing the taillights or dash, I can't tell more than 39 or 40

Looking for a 40's era ambulance restored or needing restored if anyone has a lead

There is a very solid '47? S&S ambulance in Diamond, MO that has been on Craig's list recently. It is an ambulance, but doesn't have tunnel lights. Rough looking, but no rust holes. I have personally looked at the car and he was asking $1700 for it at that time. He has had it listed higher than that, but I assume that it could still be had for the $1700. Very nice guy to deal with. I posted photos of it under "cars for sale" on this site close to a year ago.
