1940 Packard Hearse

some one tired of his toy and loves to watch BJ. they could easily have spent that much on the car. now all they have to do is find someone with that kind of money to lazy to do there own. yes they are out there.

Yes i have seen that hearse and it is a decent car that had a LOT of work done to make it look like it does. I seen pictures of it in the original as found condition before it was converted to what you now see. I give credit to the builder for what he accomplished. The car needs to be freshened up as it is showing some age since it was done. I was interested in buying this hearse a couple of years ago and I went to look at it.The owner has a much higher opinion as to what he thinks it is worth probably based on what he put into it to get it to the point it was at when it was first finished.
Most of us realize that when you pay to have work done by others you rarely can hope to recover what was spent on the project let alone make a tidy profit.
The owner was a nice guy and was honest in showing me the "before" pictures and I always hoped we could agree to a reasonable price for it in the current condition but we were so far apart it would have been futile to try to buy it.
It is extremely long and it will require a large place to store it but i wanted it.
