Wanted-Wanted parts for 1917 American LaFrance Firetruck Model 12, I am looking for the front headlights with mounting brackets, front bumper, hand operated mechanical siren, and updraft carb., and if you might have any extra parts that would fit it, let me know. You may try www.toyandfiretruckmuseum.org. Jim Dobson is the owner and has quite a collection of old fire trucks. He has a guy that either works with him or stores some of his stuff there by the last name of Adams that may be able to help too. Also www.spaamfaa.org might be helpful. There used to be a gentleman in the Jackson, Michigan area that had a shop and worked on old fire trucks as well. Not sure of his name but I believe he was a member of spaamfaa. Good luck.
