They did have a raised cup and a flush one. The weight of the body was to keep in in place. After all no need for speed or wild driving at that point.
 
Unless both sides are different, then it was intended to be canted. Leave it alone if that is the case. Look at the old pictures also. That was installed by Flxible at the factory, so why mess with it?

One look inside will tell if it was Felexable or some one wanted to be different. But some were out there has to be a picture of the offerings that year. But that is the standard Service car tri. Piece.
