One thing is for sure, They come apart a lot easier than the go back together. The car is finally starting to look like something. I still am waiting for some chrome to come back from the chrome shop. I am finishing up buffing the stainless parts that have not been installed as of yet. The Glass company will be here this coming Monday to set the new windshield. This will allow me to install the windshield trim and twinn spotlights. Soon, the body will be back together and looking good. The next step is the graphics. I had the Graphics guys out last week taking measurements. When the graphics arrive I can install them. The car is slated to go to the trim shop in November so the headliner, upholstery and the front flooring can be redone. I am still on the hunt for the elusive Armstrong Colonial Classic vinyl flooring for the patient compartment. I may have to settle for something close until I find some correct flooring, hopefully not. The mechanic end of the car was all gone through before we started the paint. I will most likely have some tweaking to do on the mechanical end when all the cosmetic stuff is is done. The electrical is complete and works like factory with the exception of the ventilator fan on the roof. I will be installing and wiring a new ventilator fan soon, it will need to be in before it goes to the trim shop. The master switch box in the car did not have enough switches so I had to swap the switch box for one with more switches. I also had to use some unused fuse circuits in the factory fuse box.
Attached are some photos of the car as it looks now.
