1952 was the first year that the image of Rushmore was put on the licence plates in the state. The first set of images were decals till 56. They did not hold up vary will. They went to a silk screen after that. Till the vinyl print we use now. I could not find one with a decent decal left and my attempts to get a printed decal were not successfully. So finly has a print shop make me up one. Here is hopping the vinyl will work.
