Default steel light

when putting the headlights back in the 53 we had one origination? sealed beam. I don't this i have ever seen one of these. lots of bulbs and reflectors. kind of things but never a sealed bean with a steel back, and a bulb fixed in place with the glass lens crimped on to it. will really the only part sealed would be the bulb. but kind of neat

Ed I think that is OEM for the Pontiac $6.99 in the day equals $49.99 in todays money. Plastic!!! Ford Taurus Interceptor $875.00 Explorer $1265.00 and the lowly obsolete Crown Victoria from Ford $165.00 from China $27.00. Ford patented the new ones so NO aftermarket. Oh yes the soon to be out new Interceptor supposedly only about $450.00 for a headlight due to complaints from PDs about Explorer price.
