A very nice survivor, if it was closer, it would be mine. My 89 country squire (which many of you have seen at several international meets) is dying of cancer, although it just did a 630 mile round trip with no problems. It also turned 170 K during this trip. Why are the nice ones always so far away!

I was thinking the same thing. I would much rather have something a little different than the same boring 80s Cadillac that everyone else has. Its bad when you have owned hearses so long that just having one is not unique enough so you start looking for the oddballs or unique colors.

Around here those wagon conversions almost always end up getting the vinyl top yanked off before they head off to a "buy here, pay here" lot. Apparently they are a lot easier to sell and more desirable as a station wagon than they are as a used service car.

I agree. That's even the more reason to save it before that happens. If it was closer I would pick it up.

Did you just buy your '95 Superior Chev from the boys in Mason City recently? That was a nice looking coach! |

Here is the complete history: This coach was built for Schroder & Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar Iowa. It was ordered through Premier Coach sales in Clear Lake, Iowa (now located in Mason City, IA), on 6-30-96. The build was started on 9-18-96, and delivered 10-6-96. It was later sold to Lincoln-Mason Funeral Home in Humboldt, IA which is where I purchased it in 2010. *You read the dates right, the 1995 models were still being built until mid-October 1996.
