Default 1960 Flxible Combination

http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/ctd/3372126950.html

Advertised as a hearse, but spot light tells me it might be a combo. Beautiful car. 60 buick is my favorite year. Asking price? $8,900

T love the body lines on this year. Too bad its a Flxette and not a Premier.
I cant make out the model number or I could tell you if its a hearse, combo, or ambulance.

For some reason, I am attracted to the short wheelbase cars myself. One plus, they fit in a standard garage. This would be worthwhile to restore, in my opinion.

Does anyone know anything about this car ?

It has a Buick nailhead engine. Why are the air cleaners always off or missing ?

That's kinda what i was thinking, but I'm not hip to pricing on Buick procars, nor Flxible. I'm with John, as to me the long WB Premier would be my preference. I do find the Flxettes neat tho. To me, as a general car guy, in this shape, id feel comfortable getting into this car in the $2500-$3500 range depending on interior shape, but that might be way outta line.

I sold a 60 Buick to someone for 600 bucks.. Saw it in a car mag a week later for 6000... I was ****ed !!! then started to laugh..... The price went down every issue till it hit about 800... then disappeared . Happens all the time.

They are always missing the cleaners because the batwing cleaners are popular among us hotrodders.

I agree. Because of this I cant find a cheap one for my 49 S&S. I did not realize these Buicks had them too, so I may have to check a few junk Buicks I know about. (My luck they are also gone). They are re-poping them now because they are so popular.
Another reason they are always missing is when they dont run, most of us spray starter fluid or gas down the carb for hours on end and if they still dont start most say fu@$ it and dont bother.
