Here we are again it will in todays world cost more to bring either back than you buy a good one for. Its too bad cause there were only a few of any built as opposed to 20K Bel Aire convertibles. And when they are gone they are gone. But the wallet rules over the heart.

Unusual partition set-up in the '75. Looks more like what one would find in a combo, rather than the typical medical equipment cabinets that you would see in an ambulance, especially a high headroom unit.

Not sure what you are looking at Terry. The '75 has a standard ambulance cabinet. There were at least 10 different cabinet configurations pictured in the '75 Superior Ambulance Cabinets, Options, and Accessories brochure.

It's essentially the same lower cabinet I have. The dual upper storage cabinets are interesting.

My mistake! I see what I did there. I didn't click on the link with the numerous photos, but only looked at the 8 that were posted at the start of the thread. From the sequence of those photos, I got the impression that the rear interior shot was from the '75, as it was near the end of the group of the other shots of that car. Poor excuse, though, as had I been paying more attention, I would have caught the blue front door that is obvious in the photo. Also missed the roller in the floor.

Give either a bath throw a blanket over the front seat in the combo they would look better. His price is right.

So sad that a "collector" left these two out to rot. They are so sun baked! Ugh. But Ronnie's right, everything is there, it just all needs to be redone.

A Wal-Mart tarp and a few bungee cords w
Is all you need to save 5 grand on the rebuild. Not counting the labor i have 3000 in my 53.

Another sad story...found this car when I was still working (Jul 2007)...took pictures of the car..... original owner (his father bought the car new from Pacific Coach Ambulance Sales, Burlingame Calif.) the son still has the original sales paperwork and the extended warranty...last I saw..the car is still there 12+ years later...sitting out in the elements...so sad and such a waste...really cool car with great history
