Superior Pontiac Returns to Acadian Ambulance Service

On September 1st and the 44th Anniversary of Acadian Ambulance Service, I was proud to have returned my restored '72 Pontiac to their fleet. I know it has gone to a great home where I retained visitation and the offer to parade rights. As we visited, Mr. Richard Zuschlag and I recalled the early years, as I was employee 37 or so, having started in 1977. It was quite a day...

(PS: Anyone have a '71 Chevy Van ambulance;)?)

I saw the photos today on Facebook. Congratulations on Acadian getting your ambulance and being able to re-create their history. Very nice.

Congratulations to you and Acadian. It is very impressive to me, what some people will do to preserve history for posterity. You should feel very proud of yourself Terry.

Terry, as Bill says, cudos to both you and Acadian. After taking a breath, good luck in finding that replacement.

I visited Acadian last month, and the 1972 Superior-Pontiac is still there. Their shop staff reported doing a significant amount of restoration work on the body after purchae.
