Could this be the same car the roof trim looks the same as in not an actual crown but with an aftermarket trim put on it.

could be but if the man in Ga has had it 16 years? the roof treatment is the same. in the 70s -80s to put on a top was normal business . in fact they had shops set up to just do that. the trim is the standard trim they used to edge the top. if the car did not have moldings. pop rivet on the plastic clips and pop in the trim, kink it to fit the body. the age of the first set of pictures makes it possible that the car went to GA from Ia to play haunted house.

Deffinently looks to be worth the money, looks to be very restorable. May not be a bad deal at all.
