Neat car, interior for sure is 80's so also thinking new front end and tail lights have been done. Cool looking place and prices seem fair, they could have took a can of black spray paint and worked on the rust under the hood.

Adam, that car is indeed a 1980 that has been visually updated to appear newer. I own both a 1980 Superior Cadillac and a 1991 Moloney Cadillac, so I am very familiar with both dashboards, and this car definitely has the 1980 dashboard. Additionally, notice the length of the doors. This car was converted from a Coupe de Ville, and the rear-drive coupe had been discontinued by 1990.

When Cadillac facelifted their Brougham for 1990, it still used the same body shell as it had for 1980-1989, so there was a fad for awhile of updating older model Cadillacs with the new front end, taillights, and side moldings.

Among the cars in my collection is the only 1984 Cadillac hearse built by Bayliff Coach. The funeral home themself updated the car in 1991 with the new taillights and side moldings, but left the original front end alone. As the funeral director told me when I picked up the car, "They only look at the rear of the hearse at a funeral."

Guess I couldn't argue with that!
