air conditioner controls?

I need the control unit for our '56 Cadillac limo..........the piece that goes under the dashboard. The air conditioner seems to work, but the control unit has a mind of its own............any suggestions, sources, experiences, etc.?

Dan Unless I am getting too old my memory says there is nothing special about 56 AC control just a couple of switches and a cable it should not be like later "Climate controls". If you can send me a picture I may have some parts,
