This is good reading about our old cars and the proper oils required.

If you are looking for a good oil for your old car, then I suggest either Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil 10W-39. I order my oil from a company that manufacturers high performance engines. I feel that if their oil is good enough for their very expensive engines, it is good enough for me. It is https://blueprintengines.com/products/blueprint-engines-10w30-engine-oil-1-quart-bpp10w30 They also have a good engine break in oil. In the past, if I ordered 2 cases of oil, they gave me free shipping. Don't know how long they will continue the free shipping, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
